Apple Martini
Whether you call it an Apple Martini or an appletini, this is a delicious cocktail that has a vodka base. If you would rather create a mocktail version, we share what to substitute that out with below.
There’s no need to hit up your local bar to enjoy an apple martini. With this recipe, you can now enjoy them at home with your guests!
- Apple vodka – if making a mocktail, replace it with apple juice.
- Elderflower liqueur
- Lemon juice
- Simple syrup – use sparkling soda in place for a mocktail.
- Crunch Pak® apple slices for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a cup of ice or two large ice cubes.
Shake for 15 seconds and double strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with apple slices and serve. It couldn’t be any easier!
How Do I Make A Dry Martini?
If you are a dry martini drinker, you’ll want to combine 1 1/2 ounces of premium vodka and 1/2 ounce of apple liqueur or Calvados, apple brandy, and a dry vermouth. Shake it with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
Variations To An Apple Martini
The Produce Moms says this all the time, they provide you with a base recipe and from there you can add in or substitute out ingredients to suit your taste buds. With that said, there’s so many variations to an appletini.
- Use green melon Midori or Cointreau to change out the flavors with your liqueur.
- The simple syrup is going to add sweetness to the drink as it’s a combination of water and syrup. This is great to add if the cocktail is too tart or dry.
- If you can’t find an apple vodka, you can get the apple flavor from apple cider or apple juice. You can then add in plain vodka.
- If you are a sour martini kinda person, use green apple Schnapps, which is seemingly often preferred. This will also add a green hue to the drink. You’ll want to add a splash of lemon juice to balance out the sweetness.
