  • 4 cups Crunch Pak Sweet Apple Slices
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the crumble topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Method
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pre-sliced sweet apples and halved strawberries.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Mix gently to coat the fruit evenly.
  4. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit filling in the baking dish.
  8. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
