Love Letter Pastries

Make their day sweeter with Raspberry Apple Love Letter Pastries!

Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 Tsp powdered sugar
  • Butter to glaze

Jam:

  • Cook 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup Crunch Pak peeled apples (diced)
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice until soft. Simmer to thicken, then cool.
Method

Pastry: Roll out puff pastry dough, cut into rectangles, and add a dollop of jam. Fold into “envelopes.” Cut small hearts and add as seals for envelopes. Add a bit of butter to glaze envelopes.
Bake: Brush with egg wash, bake at 375°F for 18–22 min, and dust with powdered sugar.
