Ingredients:
2 packs of Crunch Pak Opera Peeled Pear Slices
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup store-bought caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can (16 oz) store-bought biscuit dough
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large baking dish, combine the sliced pears, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, store-bought caramel sauce, ground cinnamon, and salt. Toss the pear mixture until the pears are evenly coated with the caramel mixture.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and arrange the biscuits on top of the caramel pear filling, covering it as evenly as possible.
- Top biscuit dough with a milk or egg wash (optional) and granulated sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuit topping is golden brown and the caramel pear filling is bubbling.
- Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the caramel pear cobbler warm, and if desired, drizzle more caramel sauce on top or serve with vanilla ice cream.
