Apple and Burrata Caprese

A refreshing and elegant twist on the classic Caprese salad. It’s a perfect appetizer or light meal that showcases the flavors of seasonal apples paired with creamy burrata cheese. The addition of crispy prosciutto and fresh basil adds layers of texture and aroma. Dig in!

Ingredients:

1 bag Crunch Pak Tart Apple Slices
1 ball of burrata cheese
4-6 slices of prosciutto
Fresh basil leaves
Honey
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the prosciutto slices in a single layer. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the prosciutto turns crispy. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

On a serving platter, arrange the sliced apples and burrata cheese. Tear the crispy prosciutto into smaller pieces and scatter it over the apple and burrata layers.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves, tearing them if desired.

Drizzle honey over the Apple and Burrata Caprese, allowing the natural sweetness to complement the other flavors.

Drizzle extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
