Description:

The Quality Control/Filter Technician's validate each step of production process by conducting visual inspections on process materials and reviewing final products to ensure quality specifications are met. Technicians use test equipment and procedures to evaluate process control criteria and/or products. Detailed documentation of processing, test procedures, and inspections.

Duties:
• Manage HAACP documentation Paper and I Pad (RedZone with minimal questions)
• GMP/Food Safety (Report to violations to lead)
• Basic understanding and execution of QC stations and duties
• Check the quality and Texture of product.
• Maintain a good Appearance
• Check and validate Labels for bags, trays, and clams along with the cases they are packed into.
• Check the Weight and validate the correct weight for each product.
• Verify the Temperature through-out the plant
• Maintain documentation and data entry
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Ability to meet duties of a General Labor level 1
• Willingness to work in a cold (27-45F) environment roughly 80-90% of the day. Person is on their feet majority of shift
• Good sense of responsibility and ownership for one’s duties
• Ability to follow instructions (written and verbal)
• Basic Computer skills (Basic I pad operations)
• Must be a team player
• Ability to stand for long periods of time required
• Ability to work in any type of outside weather conditions or inside environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak clearly in the English language
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with lots of multi-tasking
• Punctuality; good attendance
• Requires weekend work; days off rotate
• Effective use of company time, seek out duties to ensure you, and those in your area, are consistently productive
• Maintains good attendance record
• Must be able to work in an environment that is a constant 33-40 degrees
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding position – bend, kneel, twist, stoop, squat, stand, walk, reach above shoulders repeatedly the majority of the workday.

Education and/or Work History:
• Minimum of High School Diploma
