Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician professional to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and industrial equipment. Your attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and technical expertise will contribute to successful maintenance operations and the overall efficiency of our organization.

Duties:
• Repair and maintain all plant equipment. Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician employees should have a good working knowledge of all machinery in the designated area of the plant.
• Effectively understand and properly utilize all maintenance tools and equipment, such as welders, drills, grinders, presses, saws, and more.
• Utilize the outlined materials and equipment for each application. Use food grade materials in food contact areas. Sanitary weld in all processing area's which must be cleaned and sanitized.
• Be able to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Be able to troubleshoot basic control problems.
• Follow all plant safety rules, guidelines and other policies including Good Manufacturing Practices (or GMP), lockout-tagout, confined space, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on mechanical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders is crucial for the upkeep of facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Support and enforce all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Identify Process improvements.
• Effective use of company time, seek out duties to ensure you, and those in your area, are consistently productive.
• Strong Independent thinking with ability to proactively identify problems and provide solution suggestions.
• Requires very minimal supervision to perform everyday tasks.
• Able to advise management of policy violations.
• Identify and Support Process Improvements.
• Willing to adapt work schedule to company needs.
• Complete understanding of the processes and the global effects of process deviation.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as high as 20 feet.
• Must have highly effective organizational skills.

• Must be highly professional in all forms of communication skills.
• Able to assess and report on training effectiveness.
• Operating boom lifts and scissor lifts.
• Assist in assigning work.
• Comply with all safety protocols, ensure proper housekeeping, and maintain a secure work environment. Identify potential hazards and safety risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as high as 20 feet is required.

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, ability to present material and ideas to all levels of the organization

• Above average mechanical aptitude; hands-on problem solver
• Good balance of analytical, technical and social skills
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot equipment with the aid of a schematic or wiring diagram is essential.
• Proven track record in developing team members and increasing subordinate’s skill sets.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures effectively.
• Proficient in using various maintenance and diagnostic tools, including hand tools, power tools, and computerized systems.

Education and/or Work History:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in repairing electronic circuits, testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing at the component level.
• 2-3 years of experience in electrical work, encompassing AC power and AC motors.
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Maintains good attendance record
