Location: Cashmere, WA


Responsible for overseeing and doing when needed, any building repairs, maintenance of all facilities projects throughout the plant and outlying properties along with a variety of technology based needs to help complete projects as needed. This position will assess and consider daily the safety of our employees, the security of our assets and the service to our team members.

• Oversees, delegates, and helps with team duties as needed
• Creates weekly punch lists
• Oversee and verify that scheduled PM list are completed and filed as needed
• Procures supplies from local vendors as needed
• Acts as a primary contact for any building issues.
• Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
• Makes minor plumbing repairs, as necessary.
• Coordinates and assists with departmental and employee needs i.e., hangs pictures, shelving, Assembles, dismantles, and installs furniture, as needed.
• Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required.
• Ability to help with IT and know code rules to keep projects moving i.e.
• Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (monitors, workstations, printers, etc.).
• Ability to run CAT cabling.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble computer workstations and test connections.
• Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager including but not limited to: Landscaping, Framing, Remodeling, Painting, Asphalt work and Concrete pouring/finishing.

• Broad knowledge of standard practices and procedures of construction trades such as plumbing, welding, electrical; low and high voltage, landscaping, framing, concrete, including materials and tools; applicable
code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Able to problem solve
• Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work as a team member as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to learn and understand how to safely use chemicals and personal protective equipment (or PPE).
• Must have a valid WA state driver’s license, have access to reliable transportation, have a clean driving record.
• Must supply own hand tools; responsible for keeping them safe and secure; lockable box is recommended.
• Use of forklifts, aerial lifts, and other mechanized equipment as necessary for each specific job.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Ability to meet duties of a General Labor Level 1
• Must maintain attendance at a minimum of 95% of scheduled days for first 6 months. punctuality and attendance is essential.
o Failure to sustain attendance expectations will result in a demotion and a wage grade reduction.
• Employee may be required to work in cold, damp environment and the opposite environment.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding position – bend, kneel, twist, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb ladders and reach above shoulders repeatedly the majority of the workday.

Education and/or Work History:
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Maintains good attendance record
• Must have a valid Washington state driver's license

Wage: 24-28 DOE
