Crunch Pak was started in the year 2000 by a group of Washington state apple growers. In addition to apples, these growers produce cherries, pears, and other tree fruits in the North Central Washington area.
Crunch Pak sliced apples are rinsed in a healthy combination of minerals including calcium and ascorbate (vitamin C) to maintain freshness. Some packages also contain caramel dip, grapes, and carrots.
Because the majority of our products are fresh fruit, most Crunch Pak products are gluten-free (except for pretzels and granola). Our policy is to list gluten-containing ingredients in the ingredient statement on the package label.
At Crunch Pak we constantly work to make our product better. We are always looking for ways to improve quality, to insure safety, and to develop new products in accordance with consumer’s needs. To improve quality we send our people out into the orchards to find the best possible product available. To insure safety, we have a certified lab on premise, where we test and hold our product 12 hours before we ship. In terms of product innovation- Crunch Pak has the largest variety of apple slice products available.
Crunch Pak sliced apples are rinsed in a blend of calcium and Vitamin C to maintain their flavor and color. Once applied, the rinse keeps the apples crisp and flavorful for up to 21 days provided the fruit is maintained at 32-40°F.

It is simply organic produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled “organic,” a government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards.
