Maintenance Supervisor- Selah Facility

Location: Cashmere, WA

POSITION: Maintenance Supervisor- Selah Facility

Reports To: Production Manager

 

Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance, refrigeration, and integrity of the Selah Facility. This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the overall maintenance operations of the plant in accordance with policies and procedures, current local, state and federal guidelines and regulations governing our facility to assure our facility and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective manner.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Actively Supervise the maintenance department
  • Outline and delegate daily projects.
  • Oversee special projects
  • Manage the preventative/ predictive maintenance of plant equipment
  • Organize rapid changeovers between products
  • Responsible for maintaining all processing equipment to ensure continuous operation
  • Oversee Supervise installation of new equipment
  • Supervise and enforce plant safety rules and guidelines
  • Comply with all regulatory and food safety requirements.
  • Discipline employees in accordance with Crunch Pak discipline policy
  • Collaborate with Production Supervisor on daily production requirements
  • Support and provide communication to other departments
  • Communicate issues and feedback from employees to management

Qualifications/Skills

 

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present material and ideas to all levels of the organization
  • Understand and properly use and instruct all maintenance tools and equipment including welders, drills, grinders, presses, saws, etc.
  • Strong electrical trouble shooting including PLC’s, motors/drives.
  • Displays a positive and respectful attitude with all customers, external and internal.
  • Above average mechanical aptitude; hands-on problem solver
  • Good balance of analytical, technical and social skills
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and mathematical aptitude
  • Experience with Sanitary design and microbiological trouble shooting.
  • Proven track record in developing team members and increasing subordinate’s skill sets.

Educational/Work History Requirements

 

  •  Previous Supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, sanitary design, welding
  • 2-3 years of relevant sanitation experience in the food industry.
