Apple Smothered Pork Chops

*3 cups Crunch Pak Tart sliced apples
*6 loin pork chops, 1 inch think
*2 cups hot water
*3T flour
*1/4t salt
*1/4t sage
*1/2t salt
*1T vinegar
*3T molasses
*1/3 cup raisins

Sprinkle chops with salt and sage, and brown slightly in hot skillet. Place in large baking dish, saving the fat in the skillet when done. Puncture each apples slice with a fork. Arrange apple slices on top of pork chops. Pour molasses over apples.

Add flour to fat in skillet, cook until brown, stirring constantly. Add water stir until mixture boils. Add vinegar, salt and raisins. Pour over chops and apples.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until apples are tender.
