Ingredients
  1. 1 bag (14 oz.) Crunch Pak sweet apple slices; chopped
  2. 1 tsp. salt
  3. ½ package (16 oz.) egg noodles
  4. 1 tsp. salt
  5. 3 Tbsp. butter
  6. 6 eggs
  7. 1 cup packed brown sugar
  8. 2 tsp. vanilla
  9. ½ tsp. grated nutmeg
  10. 1 container (6oz.) Greek yogurt
  11. 1 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
  1. 1. Combine salt to large pot filled halfway with water. Bring water to boil on high heat; add egg noodles. Cook until pasta is al dente. Strain noodles; set aside.
  2. 2. In a medium skillet add apples and 3 Tbsp. butter. Cook for 5 minutes on medium high heat until apples are tender; set aside.
  3. 3. Whisk eggs and brown sugar in a large bowl. Add vanilla and nutmeg.
  4. 4. Combine yogurt, apples, raisins, and noodles to egg mixture.
  5. 5. Spray 9 inch by 13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add noodle mixture to dish. With a large spoon, press noodles into the egg mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Some noodles may be golden brown. Kugel be served warm or at room temperature.
