  1. 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  2. 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  3. 2 cups Crunch Pak tart apple slices, chopped small
  4. ¼ cup butter
Caramel Sauce Topping
  1. ½ cup sugar
  2. ¼ cup butter
  3. ¼ cup heavy cream
  4. Dash sea salt; if desired
  1. 1. In a medium pot combine 2 Tbsp. water and sugar and whisk together on high heat. Stir until the mixture starts to boil and turn an amber color; about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and cream while stirring with a whisk. Add sea salt if desired; set aside.
  2. 2. In a large sauce pan melt butter then add marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted. Remove from heat; add cereal and apples. Stir until cereal is coated; place in a 13×9-inch pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Press down with your hand until flattened.
  3. 3. Before serving spread with warm caramel sauce topping. Cut into 20 pieces.
