Apple Blue Cheese Tart with Caramelized Onions

- 1 Sheet of Puff Pastry
- 1 1/2 Cups of Crunch Pak Diced Sweet Apple
- 1 Medium Red Onion
- 3 Ounces of Blue Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon of Butter
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- 1. Thaw puff pasty according to package directions and then unfold to a rectangle. Fold a 1/4 inch border around the pastry by folding it onto itself to make a border/crust. Press around the pastry with a fork to reinforce the border and then poke several hole around the crust to allow the air release from dough. Bake on a baking sheet for 20 minute until the crust is light brown and flaky.
- 2. While the pastry is baking prepare the caramelized in a medium sauce pan with butter and salt and pepper. Cook onions until the onions are very soft and caramelized.
- 3. Top the prepared pastry with cooked onions, apples, and blue cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes more until cheese is melted. Enjoy
