Cooking with Crunch Pak
Here are a couple things to keep in mind when using our tasty apples. For cooking in pies, casseroles or apple crisp we suggest peeling, dicing or multiple punctures with a fork to allow the juices to mix. The natural treatment used to keep Crunch Pak Apple Slices fresh and crisp can affect the transfer of liquids while cooking. That’s why the more you expose the apple flesh, the softer it will become during the cooking process. Feel free to adjust to taste. For salads, we generally recommend dicing the apples to bite sized pieces. The pieces will remain crisp, bright and full of flavor and “crunch”.
