Panne Koeken
Also known as a Dutch Pancake, Panne Koeken, is worth waking up for. Fragrant apples, cinnamon, sugar and maple syrup... what could be better in the morning? Our easy version takes under 5 minutes to put together and only 30 minutes to bake.
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2t salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 (16oz) bags Sweet Crunch Pak apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2t cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 450°
Melt the butter and spread in a 9×13 pan.
Combine the eggs, flour, milk and salt and mix well.
Add the batter to the buttered pan and layer sliced apples over the top.
Combine the sugat and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the apples.
Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 15 more minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes and slice into squares. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
