Did you know MyPlate has been around for 2 years? In support of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans – MyPlate messages provides Americans with a relatively simple and straightforward message – “Make Half Your Plate Fruits and Vegetables.”
The MyPlate Food Guide identifies daily meal proportions for the fruit, vegetable, grains, protein, and dairy food groups; and is an easy-to-understand illustration designed to help Americans build a healthy plate at meal times.
